Dutch Docklands has become shareholder in U-Boat Worx, a Dutch company that builds world's most advanced (private) submarines with which people can discover the fabulous underwater world, in a comfortable environment without the pressure inside.
The submersibles are powered by state‐of‐the‐art Lithium‐ion Batteries ensuring the submersibles to perform diving operations up to eight hours, emitting zero pollution into the ocean. This fits in with the green philosophy of Dutch Docklands.
